Nothing too great. The main problems were that you drew too many of the SFX yourself, and that all the sprites were in .jpg or .jpeg format. Tips:
Never draw SFX yourself. Stick to sprites.
Always have sprites in a .png format. They look best that way.
Practice animations before you really use them. Keep adding more detail to animations until it looks something like SMBZ. Then submit it.
I don't have Flash, but I have used it and I am a pro animator.

You do know the SQFP series inspired SMBZ right? ;)
lol...SQFP1 was made so long ago...I was new to flash so it's obvious looking at part 1 wouldn't seem that impressive. I've been practicing quite a bit after the end of SQFP3, and a new sonic series is on it's way. I promise it'll address the errors SQFP had.

Rouge can not be beaten! She never runs out of SP! And she has twice as much HP as Sonic! Give Sonic a Super Sonic transformation other than the Zero Soulinker! And make it so that you STAY Super Sonic!
